How to file a DMCA notice

Include the subject line: DMCA Takedown Request

To help us process your request, include all of the following:

  1. Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed
    Provide a description of the original work or a direct link to it.

  2. Identification of the allegedly infringing material
    Provide the exact URL on Foodie Wo where the material appears.

  3. Your contact information
    Your full name, email address, and if applicable, your organization and phone number.

  4. A statement of good faith
    State that you have a good faith belief that the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.

  5. A statement of accuracy and authority
    State that the information in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the copyright owner’s behalf.

  6. Your signature
    A physical or electronic signature is required. Typing your full legal name is acceptable as an electronic signature.

What happens next
After we receive a complete DMCA notice, we may remove or disable access to the material. We may also contact the person who posted the content and provide them with your notice.

Counter notice
If you believe material was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter notice. A counter notice must include:

  1. Identification of the material that was removed and the location where it appeared before removal

  2. Your contact information

  3. A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the material was removed due to mistake or misidentification

  4. A statement consenting to the jurisdiction of the courts in your location (or where Foodie Wo is based) and that you will accept service of process from the person who submitted the original DMCA notice

  5. Your signature

Repeat infringers
Foodie Wo may terminate access for users who are repeat infringers when appropriate.

Changes to this policy
We may update this DMCA policy at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
