Ingredients
  

  • 1.5 cups frozen dark sweet cherries pitted
  • 1/2 frozen banana
  • 1/2 cup plain greek yogurt
  • 1 cup milk whole or oat
  • 1.5 tsp vanilla bean paste or extract
  • 1 tbsp honey or maple optional
  • 1 pinch almond extract optional but recommended

Method
 

  1. **Liquid.** Pour milk into the blender.
  2. **Dairy.** Add yogurt, vanilla paste, honey, and almond extract. Blend 30 seconds.
  3. **Fruit.** Add frozen cherries and banana.
  4. **Blend.** Blend 60 seconds until silky pink.
  5. **Check.** Add more milk if too thick.
  6. **Serve.** Pour into a tall glass. Garnish with a fresh cherry. Serve immediately.

Notes

Use frozen sweet dark cherries, not tart cherries. Vanilla bean paste or real extract. Not imitation. Greek yogurt is key for balance.
