- **Liquids.** Add milk, Greek yogurt, protein powder, cocoa, maple syrup, and salt to the blender. Pulse 10 seconds to dissolve the powder.
- **Frozen.** Drop the frozen banana slices in. Add ice if you want it extra thick.
- **Blend.** Blend on high 60 seconds until thick, smooth, and a deep chocolate brown.
- **Taste.** Sweeten with extra maple syrup if your protein powder is unsweetened.
- **Serve.** Pour into a tall glass. Top with cacao nibs or banana slices and drink within 10 minutes for the thickest texture.
Notes
Slice and freeze ripe bananas in advance so they blend smooth and thick. Use a high powered blender for the silkiest texture. A regular blender works with extra liquid. Pick a chocolate protein powder that mixes clean. Whey isolate blends smoothest.
