Ingredients
  

  • 1.5 cups frozen dark sweet cherries pitted
  • 1 large frozen banana
  • 2 tbsp dutch processed cocoa powder
  • 1 tbsp almond butter
  • 1 cup milk whole or oat
  • 1/4 cup plain greek yogurt
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 pinch salt

Method
 

  1. **Liquid.** Pour milk into the blender.
  2. **Dairy.** Add yogurt, cocoa, almond butter, maple, and salt. Blend 30 seconds.
  3. **Fruit.** Add frozen cherries and banana.
  4. **Blend.** Blend 60 seconds until silky dark purple.
  5. **Check.** Add more milk if too thick.
  6. **Serve.** Pour into a tall glass. Top with a fresh cherry. Serve immediately.

Notes

Dark sweet cherries, not tart. Frozen is essential. Dutch processed cocoa for the smoothest chocolate. Frozen banana for milkshake texture.
