Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb fresh strawberries with stems, 16-20 berries
  • 10 oz quality dark chocolate chips
  • 1 tbsp coconut oil
  • 2 oz white chocolate for drizzle, optional

Method
 

  1. Wash and pat strawberries completely dry. Leave stems on.
  2. Combine chocolate chips and coconut oil in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave at 50% power in 30-second bursts, stirring between, until smooth.
  3. Hold each strawberry by the leaves and dip 3/4 into the chocolate, swirling to coat. Let excess drip back.
  4. Place on parchment paper. Add toppings while chocolate is still wet.
  5. Once dark chocolate sets, drizzle melted white chocolate over with a fork. Refrigerate 5 minutes to set.

Notes

Always dry the strawberries completely. Microwave chocolate at 50 percent power. Add toppings within 30 seconds while the chocolate is wet.
