Method
- Whisk together soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, red pepper flakes, and black pepper.
- Brown ground beef in a large skillet over medium-high heat for 5 minutes.
- Drain most of the rendered fat, leaving 1 tbsp.
- Pour sauce over beef. Stir 2 to 3 minutes until glossy.
- Fry eggs in a separate skillet with crispy lacy edges and runny yolks.
- Build bowls with rice, beef, kimchi, cucumber, and a fried egg.
- Sprinkle with green onions and sesame seeds.
Notes
Use 85% lean ground beef. Drain most of the rendered fat. Pack the brown sugar when measuring.
