Smoothie Bowl Acai

Ingredients
  

  • 2 frozen acai packets unsweetened
  • 1 frozen banana
  • 1/2 cup frozen mixed berries
  • 1/3 cup almond milk or any milk
  • 1 tablespoon honey or agave

Method
 

  1. Blend. Break frozen acai packets into chunks and add to blender with frozen banana, frozen berries, milk, and honey. Blend on high, using the tamper or stopping to scrape down sides, until thick and smooth (about 1 minute).
  2. Pour. Scoop the thick smoothie into a bowl. It should be thick enough to hold toppings on the surface without them sinking.
  3. Top. Arrange granola, sliced banana, fresh berries, coconut flakes, and chia seeds in rows or sections across the top.
  4. Serve. Eat immediately with a spoon. Add a drizzle of honey or peanut butter for extra flavor.

Notes

Use as little liquid as possible. Add one tablespoon at a time until the blender moves. Too much liquid makes a thin smoothie, not a bowl. Freeze your banana ahead of time. Fresh banana will make the bowl too thin. Run the acai packets under warm water for 5 seconds to make them easier to break apart.
