- Blend basil, chives, tarragon, Greek yogurt, mayonnaise, lemon juice, garlic, and olive oil until completely smooth and bright green, about 30 to 45 seconds. Season with salt and pepper.
- Finely shred cabbage into short strips no longer than 1 inch. Dice cucumbers small. Thinly slice green onions.
- Combine cabbage, cucumbers, and green onions in a large bowl. Pour dressing over the top and toss thoroughly until every piece is coated.
- Let the salad rest for 5 minutes to allow the dressing to soak into the cabbage.
- Taste and adjust salt, lemon, and pepper. Add any toppings such as seeds or chickpeas right before serving.
Notes
Shred the cabbage very finely so the dressing coats every piece evenly. Use full-fat Greek yogurt for the creamiest dressing. Let the dressed salad rest for 5 minutes before serving to soften the cabbage slightly and let flavors meld.
